The ideal candidate will be a creative and technically driven professional with experience in direct and interactive marketing and emerging trends in the field. The new faculty member will participate in the implementation of strategic goals for the program, and will be expected to participate in administrative activities as necessary and will demonstrate mastery of direct and interactive concepts and practical usage. Responsibilities will include building partnerships in the field, promoting the program, and advising and mentoring students. In addition to having unquestioned professional ability, the candidate must demonstrate interest or experience in teaching, training, or instruction; display a passion for the field; possess a desire to convey this excitement to students; and teach classes in the discipline to both Direct & Interactive Marketing and Advertising & Marketing Communications students.
Desired Skills and Experience
- A Master’s degree relevant to the position
- Ten years of recent executive level Direct & Interactive Marketing experience at a large multinational corporation are required;
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM are essential;
- Membership in a Direct & Interactive Marketing professional organization.
