"As we look at these recipients, we see a group of individuals who truly represent leaders in direct and interactive marketing disciplines to help brands succeed in building and strengthening customer interactions," said DMCNY Club President Pegg Nadler. "As we celebrate their achievements, we also mark the dynamics that make our profession challenging, stimulating and very rewarding. This is where marketing is heading – and these people and companies are showing us the way." Each year, the Club’s past presidents gather to select a handful of individuals and a corporate honoree to receive Silver Apples. The recipients must have at least 25 years’ experience in the business, a commitment to volunteerism and leadership, and a record of vital contributions to the growth of the industry. The Golden Apple honoree is selected in the same manner.
